This isn’t any magic but a scientific toy available at the ongoing Lucknow book fair at Moti Mahal lawns.

There are many such toys and study material available for children at the fair.

Keeping to its theme ‘Digital India’, the fair displays a collection of e-books and teaching aids that can make learning fun for children.

“In addition to a wide range of study tools, there are books on mental maths, interactive grammar, scientific experiments, books for beginners who have just started learning alphabets and numbers and good collection of novels and poetry—there is no dearth of books for children at the fair. There are designer stationary items and CDs put on display at the fair,” said Manoj Singh Chandel, organiser of the fair.

He told that the visitors are also being allowed to interact with writers and poets during the fair as the organising committee has invited a number of guests.

Evens like dance contest, fancy dress etc would also be hosted in the children’s section, said Chandel.

Kavi Sammelan, Mushaira, discussions, book releases would be another attraction, he added.

The book fair would continue till April 16.

The fair is open between 11am to 9pm.
